We can not register domain names directly from domain registries. Registries have appointed different registrars to register domain names. We have to visit registrars website to register any domain names. There are hundreds of domain name registration companies in the world.

Each registrars charge different amount for same type of domain names. So, we should check all registrar sites before registering any domain names. For example, if  we want to register a .com domain name today, price from each registrar is different. Check the difference below:

Godaddy charge is usd 10.99 (roughly 10.99 x Rs.60) = Rs. 660 / year

Resellerclub charge is Rs.510/year
Bigrock charge is usd  11.99 = Rs.720/year

So, as of today (10 July 2013), Resellerclub charge less money compare with other registrars. Also most of the registrars give offers to its customers for limited time. It is better to check maximum registrars websites for any offer to reduce our registration cost.
